COUNTY ADMINISTRATOROTERO COUNTY.  Otero County, sitting as the gatekeeper on the southeastern plains of Colorado, is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of County Administrator.  The County Administrator assists the Board of County Commissioners in the management of general county operations, budget development and finance, human resources, economic development, and grantsmanship.  In addition, the County Administrator functions as liaison with other elected officials and department heads in directing the administration of county government.  Successful applicants must have graduated from a four-year college or university, with a degree in public or business administration, political science, or another closely related field.
